D&d gay

It appears that in at least one culture, homosexuality exists but is taboo or forbidden. D&D 5e's Waterdeep: Dragon Heist features Jalester Silvermane, a man who previously had a boyfriend. Why is there so much overlap between LGBT+ and DnD players? I always assumed I was in a small minority as a gay DnD player but no, after years of engaging with the community I've come d&d the conclusion that there's a good chance most of the people who read this are LGBT+.

We've got 3 people in, with me included as definites. I and a few others I know who aren't in here are still looking, one group got formed but timing issues stopped us joining the d&d gay one that formed. Available as a podcast, the episodes are usually under two hours, making it perfect for listening to throughout the day while commuting or doing chores. Most of the people who I have found on this site have been good d&d gay mature players.
